Skimmer
Pollen in the spring or falling leaves in autumn impair water quality. Plant remnants make the pond surface turbid and the nutrients input into the pond in this manner allow algae to grow quickly. Surface vacuums (skimmers) keep the water clean by removing contaminants before they sink to the bottom of the pond.
